Welcome

Landscape Synthesis Research Unit is the part of the Department of Geography, Faculty of Science (Jan Evangelista Purkyne University in Usti nad Labem, Czechia). Its main tagret is to create a research platform for landscape research at the Department and to improve the Departmental cooperation with other institutions aiming at landscape issues in abroad. Besides this, members of the unit are highly involved in educational process at the University.

Basic information

Established in 2008, the Landscape Synthesis Research Unit is a part of the Department of Geography, Faculty of Science (Jan Evangelista Purkyne University in Usti nad Labem, Czechia). Fundamental aim of the unit is to improve the landscape research in its broad meaning at the Department by integrating individual research activities and research projects as well as the equipment and datasets for this research. The particular goal of the research unit is to communicate the research activities and their results towards foreign institutions and organizations.
